Karina Barragán is the Director of Resident Services Programs for TELACU Residential Management, Inc. As the Director of the program, she has become a strong advocate for seniors and continually strives to support her colleagues and community. Karina holds an M.A. in Education from Azusa Pacific University and a Professional Service Coordinator Certificate from Ohio State University. She has utilized this background to bridge relationships with universities in surrounding communities, which has facilitated providing critical services to the aging population. Karina serves as President for the Southern California Chapter of AASC (American Association of Service Coordinators), Fellow of LeadingAge National Larry Minnix Leadership Academy, LeadingAge California EMERGE Alumni, serves on the LeadingAge California Services Excellence Committee, and was a facilitator for the MedCHAT Collaborative, a research program for the future of Medicare. Karina is committed to positive change and continues to notably influence the aging and underserved communities.
