Interprofessional Geriatrics Curriculum (IPGC)

Teams of seven students from different health professional programs are paired with an older adult living in a low- income community housing complex. Students will meet on five half days during the academic year, including an introduction and program overview session, three visits at the older adult’s residence, and a wrap up session. Each team meeting with the older adult is facilitated by a faculty mentor and preceded by a brief academic lecture on a topic which is the focus of that day’s team visit.
