Sandra Vasquez is the Project Specialist for the Interprofessional Geriatrics Curriculum a program through the Geriatric Healthcare Collective grant, which is funded by the Health Resource and Services Administration (HRSA).

Sandra is responsible for the overall organization and logistics of the Interprofessional Geriatrics Curriculum (IPGC), a program that teaches health care professional students about working as a team to provide excellent care to older adults. In this role, she helps develop the curriculum alongside faculty, creates the student teams and recruits the older adults to participate.

Additionally, Sandra administers approvals for the Geriatric Assessment Program (GAP) student accounts, and schedules students to engage in an educational observation experience with patients and faculty members at the GAP clinic. She coordinates faculty training, continuing medical education (CME) experiences, health care symposiums, and collaborates with community partners.

Sandra graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Human Resources and earned a certificate in Project Management from Cal State University Dominguez Hills.

She enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, and special events.
